Its official, Vishal to get Superstar’s title!

As we had reported earlier Vishal has signed his second project as a producer. Thiru will be directing the movie and unlike earlier reports that suggested Jai would be the hero of the director’s next, Vishal will take up the lead character. After Pandianadu, actress Lakshmi Menon will yet again pair up with the muscular man for this exciting project.
 

It has now come to our notice that ace producers, UTV Motion Pictures will join hands with Vishal Film Factory (VFF) in producing the movie. The film has also been titled Naan Sigappu Manithan, a title borrowed from one of Superstar Rajinikanth’s classics.
 

Talking about the new project, Vishal said, “VFF is proud and happy to be associated with UTV to produce our second film venture this November with Thiru. With all your love and support, we are aiming to complete the film in one schedule and release in summer 2014.”
 

G Dhananjayan, Chief, South Business - Studios, Disney UTV, said, “Naan Sigappu Manithan is a romantic action thriller with a new storyline which will surprise the audience. We are impressed with Thiru’s storytelling and are confident he will deliver an outstanding film with Vishal. Though the title of the film is borrowed from a 1985 Super Hit film starring superstar Rajinikanth, it is a new subject untold in Tamil cinema and we look forward to the release of the film.”

Naan Sigappu Manithan boasts of a strong crew consisting of composer Thaman, cinematographer Richard M Nathan, editor Ruben, choreographer Shobi and lyricist Madhan Karky.
