''Kamal Sir has been a great pillar of support''

There is a special place for Gauthami in Tamil film industry. Having been associated with films of various genres, Gauthami is also a cancer survivor. “When I was diagnosed with the disease I was 35 and my daughter was just five years old. All my thoughts were only on her”. She has undergone the necessary treatment and having neutralized the challenges bravely, Gauthami is a multitasker and her strong spirit is definitely inspiring.

She also adds that having wonderful people around her during her tiring times have helped her.  And Kamal tops the list. “Kamal sir has been a great pillar of support for me. In fact I did not realize the amount of strain I was putting him through”, she explains.

For all those people who are afraid to even hear the name of the disease, Gauthami’s life could really be inspiring and motivational.
