With the first look posters of Thalaivaa spellbinding Tamil cinema fans all over, Vijay is busy readying the project along with director Vijay. In the midst of his busy schedule he did take some time off to talk to a section of the media on a lot of matters including the good run of Thuppakki.

One particular question posted to him was who he considered as his competition in the industry today. Vijay was quick to respond that his only competition was himself. This was to imply that the star is looking to better his past performances with each project. Surely that’s a commendable trait that promises quality movies in the future.
