The 60th National Awards ceremony today
May 03, 2013The 60th National Awards ceremony will be held today, the 3rd of May at the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.
The winners from Tamil Cinema, Lalgudi Ilaiyaraja (art direction, Vishwaroopam), Raja (make-up, Vazhakku Enn 18/9) and Poornima Ramaswamy (costume design, Paradesi) were there in New Delhi a day in advance to take part in the dress rehearsals ahead of the actual event. The entire ceremony was rehearsed to make sure that the actual process takes place according to time and plan.
The President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, will hand over the awards to the winners and the ceremony will be hosted by upcoming Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi.
