Rakul Preet Singh replaces Nithya Menon

Gautham Karthik after an impressive debut in Mani Ratnam’s Kadal, has signed a project with debutante Ravi Thyagarajan. He will be doing the lead in the Tamil remake of Ala Modalaindi that featured Nani and Nithya Menon in central roles.
Reprising Nithya Menon’s role will be Rakul Preet Singh, who was last seen in Vijay Adiraj’s Puthagam. Nithya Menon’s character in the film got her a Nandi Award for the Best Actress. Rakul too believes that this character will earn her good reputation.
