Elred Kumar and Jayaram, Chiefs of RS Infotainment, who produced Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya, EK Deewana Tha and Neethane En Ponvasantham, have filed a suit against Gautham Menon and Madhan, Chief of Escape Artists Motion Pictures. According to their petition, in 2008, Gautham Menon and Madhan had made an agreement with RS Infotainment to do a project with Simbu in the lead and with AR Rahman’s music. But that didn’t happen. Instead Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya was made in 2010.

Later, the same project, for which Elred claims to have paid Gautham a hefty advance, was again planned, but with Allu Arjun in the lead, which didn’t happen either.
 

Now, Elred Kumar has filed a suit against the duo, asking them to either return their advance or do a project for them, prior to the film Gautham is now planning to do with Suriya in the lead.
 

Amidst this confusion, the audio launch of Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga (KBKR), which has been produced by Escape Artists Motion Pictures, was cancelled, following an order from the Commissioner’s Office to Madhan. KBKR stars Siva Karthikeyan, Vimal, Regina Cassandra and Bindu Madhavi in the lead. Pandiraj has helmed the project and Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed tunes for the film.
 

Word from the team of KBKR is that the music will have a soft launch and will be made available in stores and online from today !
