'One hour cut for Vishwaroopam?'

Certain media reports are suggesting that representatives of the State Government have requested Kamal Haasan to chop off scenes from Vishwaroopam to make it ‘release-worthy’ in the state. The total amount of edits suggested may surmount to nearly 1 hour is what the reports are indicating.

Insiders are also saying that Kamal has been dismissive of the proposal presented by the mediators arranged by the state government. Chandra Haasan had also told the media that Kamal will be the sole person who will take a call on whether any cuts can be accommodated.

Meanwhile, the voices for lifting the ban on Vishwaroopam have been growing stronger day by day with prominent political parties like the Left and BJP demanding the same.
