Story: Kreshna, Karuna, Rupa & Oviya get caught in haunted ancestral bungalow. What happens next forms the crux of the story.

Kreshna – He has acted as lead hero in Alibaba, Kattradhu Kalavu & Kazhugu. Though, Kattradhu Kalavu & Kazhugu received positive response from the critics and certain section of the audience, it didn’t succeed much at the box office. As usual, he has given his best in this movie too and has to be appreciated for choosing wonderful scripts.

Karunakaran – His roles in Pizza & Soodhu Kavvum as Arumai Pragasam was well received by the audience. He almost plays the second hero role in this movie. His comedy timings & body language add more value to the movie

Oviya & Rupa Manjari has been used as Glamorous dolls in the movie, Rupa Manjari with western outfits & Oviya in Saree.

Aadhav Kannadasan, Anaswara & Mayilsamy have done wonderful job as supporting actors.

Music by S.N. Prasad was good. His BGM was excellent. Indeed, it helps to create scary moments in the movie, in which more importance had been given to comedy.

Cinematography by Rammy was good. 70% of the movie happens inside the Bungalow and he has made sure that audience doesn't feel it.

Editor Sreekar Prasad has made sure that the second half, which runs for just 49 minutes engages the audience completely with lots of comedy and few horror scenes. But, the first half of the movie runs for 79 minutes and lots of unwanted sub-plots, play the spoilsport.

Costume Designer Veena deserves special mention as she has shown lots of variations in the flashback scenes with the costumes.

Director Deekay makes wonderful debut in Tamil Cinema with Yaamirukka Bayamey. He has to be really appreciated for taking a genre, which is very rare in Tamil Cinema. Few people may criticize that the movie lacks horror and few may feel that the movie doesn't have much comedy too. But, he has taken the huge risk and has succeeded in it to huge extent. First 30 minutes of the movie, forced adult comedy dialogues & unnecessary scenes plays the spoilsport in the first half. But, he has managed to give an excellent second half, which will satisfy both horror & comedy movies lovers with an engaging screenplay.

Overall, Yaamirukae Bayamae = 75% Comedy & 25% Horror, with dragging first half & an excellent second half, which will satisfy both comedy & horror movie lovers.

First Half – 2 / 5 & Second Half – 3.5 / 5

Rating of the movie by Common Man – 2.75 / 5

Rating of this movie for people who liked Kanchana, Pizza & horror comedy movie lovers – 3.25 / 5
