When the matter came up for hearing, Sivakumar's
advocate stated that his clients did not have
any financial dealing with the movie. Following
this, Ameer's counsel made a plea that the Sivakumars
be absolved from the case. Accepting it, Justice
Prabha Sridevan dismissed the case against them
but ordered Gnanavel to file a fresh counter on
Friday.
