It
has been quite a while since we have seen
debutant talents from star households after
Saranya Bhagyaraj made her debut with Parijatham.
Now
it is time for P.Vasu's son Shakthi
to hit the screens with his debut
venture Thottal Poo Malarum. His father
directs him and he is cast opposite
debutant Gowri Mumjal from Delhi.
The shoots of Thottal Poo Malarum
were officially begun in front of
the Sivaji memorial tomb with Shakthi
pronouncing his first dialogues in
front of the camera. The memorial
tomb has been erected in front of
the A.V.M. Studio to commemorate the
54th year of Shivaji's debut Parasakthi.
The dialogues hailed Sivaji as a God
of Cinema asking Shakthi to bless
him on his debut venture. P. Vasu
directed the scene and Akash was the
cinematographer.
Earlier,
Shakthi received blessings from the industry
veterans Rajini, Kamal, K S Ravikumar
and their likes on his debut project.
Vasu's Chinnathambi, Walter Vetrivel,
Mannan, Chandramukhi were milestones in
Tamil cinema and it is expected that he
will serve as an efficient launchpad for
his son's journey to the tinsel town.
