These
days Kollywood is getting packed with
a lot of socially conscious and responsible
actresses. A lot of social activities
involving Trisha, Asin, Diya are being
reported in the media. The latest
addition to the list is Shriya Reddy,
the former SS music VJ and ‘Thimiru’
actress.
She participated in a programme organized
by Colgate-Palmolive at Kodambakkam,
Chennai.
This
programme was aimed to spread awareness
on dental hygiene to children belonging
to the lower strata of community. Shriya
was an eager contributor who interacted
with the children from a community-based
organization called Pratham Vidhyarambam
meaning the first education.
Shriya’s
presence added colour to the event.
She was rightly chosen for this venture
as she has the perfect set of sparkling
dentition. People who had watched
her shows in SS music would vouch
for that.
The
children though awed by her initially,
let their hair down later and had
a good time with her. She also socialized
with children freely and gave them
tips on keeping their teeth clean
and sparkling. So… in future,
if Kollywood stars are affected by
teeth problem, Shriya is the right
person to seek advice on.
