Priorities
of Asin the Kerala beauty are very
different from others. She gives leverage
to the star cast in a film rather
than the story. This is very evident
from the selection of her movies.
She shows keen interest to act with
all the leading popular actors like
Vijay, Surya, Ajith, Kamal etc. To
her acting with the top stars is more
important. Story generally takes a
back seat. In the event of a dearth
in such projects, she takes refuge
in ad films.
Recently, the shooting of Pokkiri
was stalled for a while as Vijay was
down with an eye infection.
Using
this time-break Asin was off to the sets
of Dasavatharam and Aalwar to pair with
Kamal and Ajith.
As
it is, Vijay was not too happy with Prabhudeva’s
slow style of directing. He for one believes
in the fast paced style with a film getting
completed in six months of time. But Prabhudeva
shoots one or two scenes a day at the maximum.
Added to that, the absence of Asin has added
fuel to the fire. Now they are wrapping
up the scenes with Vijay alone and are waiting
for Asin to get back to complete the rest
of the shoot.
