Dasavatharam
is progressing day in and day out
in Chennai city and its outskirts.
The crew is busy shooting in Anna
Arivalayam in a colossal set that
was laid in the expansive campus to
resemble an Airport. The week that
went by witnessed the campus busy
with carpenters and skilled workers
indulging themselves in the construction
of the magnificent airport set.
Earlier, Sameer Chanda was shown the
doors from the project since his finicky
demands to employ only workers from
Mumbai.
The
unit went outrageous with his fussy
requirements and decided to do without
him. The part of Sameer Chanda is
now entrusted to Prabhakar of Virumaandi
and Autograph fame.
Shooting started in the airport set
today, Wednesday, which has reportedly
cost the producer a whopping two crores.
The money seemed to have worked the
magic and the set is sure a head turner
for the occasional person walking
by and it won’t be surprising
if the onlooker mistook the set for
a real airport owing to its real looks.
