Speculations
are already on as to what will be Rajini’s
next movie and who will bag the contract
of directing him behind the cameras. While
there is no concrete news on that quarter,
it is evident that K S Ravikumar –
who has had few hits with the Superstar
– is leading the race of contenders.
Amidst
this, Murugadoss – director
of Gajini and Telugu flick Stalin
– stated sometimes back that
Rajini has asked him to prepare a
script for his next movie. In a statement
he said that he called on Rajini upon
his invitation and Rajini requested
him to prepare a script for his next
movie. Owing to busy schedules he
could not concentrate on the same
and neither did Rajini show any interest
after that which made him abandon
the project.
Murugadoss’s Stalin with Chiranjeevi
in the lead will be released for the
first time ever in 520 theatres with
400 prints on September 20.
His
Gajini is remade in Hindi with Aamir Khan
and Kareena Kapoor in the lead. As reported
earlier, Asin is not included in the Hindi
version of Gajini, which is produced by
Geeta Arts – which remade the movie
in Telugu.
