Himesh
Reshammiya the latest music sensation and
the most sought after music directors of
Bollywood has a very humane nature to boast
about. His basic benevolence still prevails
despite him scaling astral heights. An incident
that took place recently reiterated this
fact.
Iyakkunar
Imayam Bharathiraja is directing a
bilingual film by name ‘Cinema’
in Hindi and ‘Bommalaatam’
in Tamil. Major portion of the film
has been shot in Malaysia. The last
Hindi movie that Bharathiraja made
was ‘Red Roses’ with Rajesh
Khanna, which is the Tamil remake
of Sigappu Rojakkal.
Vatsal Seth an upcoming actor in Bollywood
is a good friend of Himesh. Impressed
by his acting skills, Himesh referred
Vatsal to Bharathiraja who immediately
cast him in an actor’s role
in ‘Cinema’.
Vatsal
is obviously moved by this gesture of Himesh
and feels indebted to him. While singing
praises on Himesh, he says that popularity
and fame has not changed Himesh one bit
and that he continues to remain the same
person he knew earlier.
Cinema is being made with Nana Patekar in
the lead role with south Indian films as
its backdrop. Incidentally this is the first
time the talented and versatile Nana is
debuting in a Tamil film. In Hindi, movies
like Kagaz Ke Phool, Guddi, Rangeela and
Naach were based on Bollywood and ‘Cinema’
will also follow the path but in a different
way.
