Versatile
Prakashraj seems to be in trouble with the
Producers Council of the Telugu film industry
banning the Telugu producers from booking
him for new movies.
Prakashraj
is equally and probably more popular
in Telugu movies as he is Tamil –
Telugu is his mother tongue by the
way.
He has been acting in ‘Siddhu’
produced by Jyothi Prasad. For reasons
unknown, the movie’s shoot was
stalled abruptly owing to the absence
of Prakashraj in the sets. Even after
repeated discussions, Prakashraj failed
to turn up to the shoots which made
Jyothi Prasad to lodge a complaint
with the Producers Council.
The
Council has sent an explanatory notice to
Prakashraj which even went unanswered. Stating
this, the Council has released a press statement
asking the producers not to book Prakashraj
in any new Telugu ventures. But, this announcement
will not bind the movies in which Prakashraj
was booked earlier – the statement
said.
