Surya
has an extra sized double treat this month.
With his long awaited love marriage on the
cards and his SOK opening to packed houses,
he is far more than ecstatic about everything.
This year has been magnificent for him;
it is anyone’s guess.
So does he feel SOK is the kind of movie
he can rely on with a not-so-heroism kind
of script. Surya asserts that he is always
for experimenting and will continue to do
so even if this movie is not making its
mark.
He
recounts that when the script was
narrated to him he has no doubts about
doing the movie, as an additional
surprise Jo told him that she would
do the movie even if he turns it down.
He asserts that unexplored ideas enthuse
him and he is always on the look out
for movies with a tinge of realism
attached to them. He says that he
pays attention to the fact as to what
he can deliver to his audiences, different
every time he adds. SOK is inspired
by a factual incident and he would
love to live the life of Gautham (Surya’s
character in SOK) in real life, Surya
utters.
That
explains his dedication to scripts that
strike a chord in the midst of his fans.
He asserts that SOK will open up avenues
for a new genre of movie making and is the
only next movie of its kind to Mouna Ragham.
So, what is next? He has signed his next
contract with Gowtham Menon and after that
to Visnhuvardhan, which leaves him no time
to think about anything for the next year,
except Jo of course.
