National
award winner Meera Jasmine is out of Thangar
Bachan’s Pallikoodam. Don’t
jump to conclusions. She has voluntarily
decided to stay out of the movie. Director
Thangar Bachan always manages to be in limelight
for various reasons.
Initially,
it was a controversy involving Navya
Nair in the movie Chidambarathil Oru
Appa Sami which got resolved after
the intervention of senior artists.
Later it was an unwarranted opinion
from him on the Kushboo case.
Currently, he has started on a new
movie by name ‘Pallikoodam’.
Initially Meera Jasmine was said to
be in the movie and Thangar was mighty
pleased about the same as Meera’s
talents would surely add up to positive
elements in his film. But for reasons
unknown she has decided to opt out
of the movie. Chithiram Pesudadi director
Mishkin was also supposed to be in
the movie but again he too has decided
against it.
Generally,
artists are not much forthcoming when they
have to work with Thangar. This has been
proved once again. We need to wait till
we hear the next round of actors for ‘Pallikoodam’.
Meanwhile Meera’s schedule is full
this year with S J Suryah in Thirumagan
and with Dhanush in Parattai Engira Azhagu
Sundaram.
