It
might seem to be a clichéd statement
coming from an actress who knows how to
sweet-talk the media into writing good things
about her. After all every other lady who
has done at least one film stresses on the
importance of a story, script…….blah,
blah, blah. But, maybe Trisha means what
she says. No, Trisha has not sweet-talked
Behind Woods into writing this. This news
is a genuine report on what one hears about
the actress. During the earlier phase of
her career she might not have had the freedom
to decide which film she wanted to do.
But
now the situation has changed. She
is one among the top actresses in
the industry. She has options and
she seems to be making her choices
wisely.
According to her, she does not want
the script to give her character any
special importance or scenes that
can highlight her acting skills. She
just wants to make sure that any film
that she appears in does well at the
box office. The verdict of the people
is what matters most. There are other
actresses (no offence intended to
any heroine; past, present or future)
who demand that they be given scenes
of importance. Trisha is satisfied
if the film does well.
Want
proof of this? After her recent good shows
in films, she has been getting lots of offers.
But the news is that she has not yet accepted
any of them. One of those offers is reportedly
from a top rung director. She also had earlier
rejected a performance-oriented role in
a Telugu film titled Charminar Express.
Now, it takes a lot of conviction to decline
a top director. Even heroes may think twice
before doing it. But Trisha seems to know
where she is going.
