When
one is in the film world, one must get used
to all sorts of funny and some times not
so funny things being said about oneself.
As we all might know well, the film industry
is the favourite and sometimes the only
source which the gossip mills of the media
tend to use. Luckily for director Lingusamy,
what the gossip mills had to say about him
was something that he could easily laugh
off and would surely be laughed off by others
too. No problems here.
Well,
now you must be curious to know what
the whole fuss is about. Then here
it is. There has been news doing the
rounds stating that Lingusamy has
decided about his next film after
Bheema. Well, that doesn’t sound
like gossip, does it. The laugh comes
only after this. The news stated that
the movie would be directed by Lingusamy,
would star him and would also be titled
‘Lingusamy’. The only
thing that they seemed to have missed
out on is that the movie would be
an autobiography of the director.
Only the heavens would know how this
news came into being.
However clearance about this news
was sought from the man himself.
Lingusamy
had his best laugh of the year when he heard
about what was being talked about him. The
person who asked him about this had no other
choice but join in the laughter. After Lingusamy
had got over his fit of laughter he clearly
laid out his future plans.
After Bheema he was going to direct a Telugu
film starring Mahesh Babu and then a film
starring Bharath. So much for the biopic.
While we are here we might as well tell
you something about the director.
Did you know that he wanted to title his
first film ‘Aanandham’ as Tirupathi
Brothers? That remained an unfulfilled ambition
until he started his own production company
which he named Tirupathi Brothers. He also
owns a shop which also has the same name.
That apart Tirupathi Brothers productions
is currently busy with the works of Deepavali
starring Jeyam Ravi. The grapevine is that
the company has two other projects lined
up.
