About 500 Kamal fans, from each district in
the state, totaling to about 15,000 will be donating
blood throughout the month of November at their
respective district government hospitals. It has
also been decided to name the month of November,
as the ‘Life Saver Month.’
Pitching in for the actor, his long time friend
Gouthami will inaugurate this blood donation camp
on November 4th at the Hindu Ottrumai Kazhagam
Middle School campus (De Mellows Road, Chennai-12)
in the presence of Dr. Dhanapal, Director, Kilpauk
Medical College and Hospital, who will be the
chief guest. Dr. Ragupathy, Dr. Kantharaj and
Dr. Pathy will participate in the camp and offer
free medical advice to the donors.
The arrangements for this month-long blood donation
camp are being organized by R. Gunaseelan, Managing
Director, Kamal Haasan Welfare Association, its
spokesperson Nikhil, ‘Park Town’ Karunakaran
and other members of the Chennai region.
