Divya Films, however, relentlessly pursued the
case stating that they had acquired the rights
to Adimai Penn from Karpagam Circuit way back
in 1995 and that they should be allowed to screen
the movie. On hearing this appeal, Judges P.T.Dhinakaran
and Ragupathy vacated the stay stating that Divya
Films had the rights to release the film. However,
the court directed Divya Films to keep a record
of the accounts of the sales of the film and posted
the next hearing to 16th November.
