And Kamal has decided to capitalize on this by releasing the screenplay of two of his movies - Hey Ram and Mahanadhi – into Malayalam, which are being translated by noted Malayalam translator K.S.Viswanathan. Kamal says that he was overwhelmed by the enquiries he had received for the translation of his screenplays.

This book titled “Kamalahaasanda Rendu Thirakadhagal” is to be released by him in the presence of the Hon’ble Culture Minister K. A. Baby at the 3rd DC International Book Fair and Cultural Fest to be held on the 28th October at Chandreshekaran Nair Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. Kamal went on to say that he has even received requests to translate the screenplay of his upcoming film Dasavatharam to Malayalam. He also added that he feels, one day, his screenplay could vie for the Sahitya Akademi awards as these works are original work.
