Sources close to the unit say that it has been
constructed for a 40-day shoot; but has hinted
that it was not for a song. The huge set, for
such a long schedule indicates that a major portion
of the movie is to be shot there.
Kuruvi has special significance as it is being
produced by Udhayanidhi, son of MK Stalin, and
directed by Dharani with musical score by Vidyasagar.
Trisha plays Vijay's leading lady, and that she
got the role after much deliberation is noteworthy.
