Initially, Jai of Chennai-28 fame was approached
to play the role of hero but he could not comply
with the request as he was already committed to
Subramaniapuram. Following this, the director
had narrated the story to Jeeva who immediately
gave his consent but would be signing on the dotted
line after he wraps up Rameswaram. To play Jeeva’s
love interest in the film, Priya Mani is being
considered and talks are going on. ‘Sivavin
Manadil Sandhya’ will have Yuvan scoring
the music and Shakthi Saravanan of Chennai 28
fame will be in charge of cinematography.
