More recently Kamna Jethmalani was publicized by director Saran as grand daughter of renowned advocate Ram Jethmalani similarly Ramya of Kutthu fame now known as Divya was introduced in her first film and publicized as grand daughter of then chief minister of Karnataka Shri S.M.Krishna.

The latest to join this band wagon is Sudharsana the heroine of Pa.Vijay’s Thai Kaaviyam. The directors are launching her as Satyajit Ray’s relative, whether it would give the film the necessary mileage has to be seen. In spite of all these claims by the filmmakers on the ancestry of their actors none of them have come out in the open about their facts.
