Can't guess how, well, its around 9 years back
that she made her big screen debut in a Malayalam
film titled Ingane Oru Nilapakshi and its been
quite a career since then. Though her debut failed
to break ice at the box office and the few people
who ever saw that movie almost forgot her as just
another non-happening debutant, Sneha did not
give up. Destiny, it seems had bigger plans for
her than just Kerala and the dusky beauty landed
up in Kollywood and the rest of it is known to
us all. From the days of Virumbugiraen and Aanandham
to the currently 'in the making' Aruvadai it is
amazing how this lady has managed to look almost
the same.
Her career has not been without ups and downs
and dry phases but she has come out of them all,
stronger than before. She remains one of the very
few heroines who have made their presence felt
strongly in all four states of the south. Her
return to her debut ground, Malayalam, after nearly
8 years proved to be hugely successful with Thuruppu
Gulan opposite Mammooty turning out to be a big
hit. No wonder she was chosen once again as his
lady in Aruvadai.
What more, Sneha has many meaty roles to her credit
including the recently released Pallikkoodam apart
from her role in Cheran's Autograph and Karu Pazhaniappan's
Parthiban Kanavu. She has rejoined with Pazhaniappan
for his next venture with Cheran, Pirivom Sandhippom.
Having worked with almost all big stars of the
south including Kamal Haasan she has seen almost
everything in the film industry: success, failure
and everything in between.
And as we wish her many happy returns of the day,
she is busy working in three languages, Tamil,
Telugu and Malayalam. Sneha, you couldn't ask
for a better birthday. Warm wishes from the Behindwoods
team on behalf of all your fans.
