Today on the sets of her upcoming Mirugam directed by Sami of Uyir fame, shooting happened to go beyond the scheduled time of 6:00 pm,the time committed to the actor but Sami insisted that she stay on after that as they needed to shoot a few more scenes. Padmapriya insisted that she had informed him earlier that she has to leave, this seems to have irked Sami who happened to murmur that she had performed badly in the shots that were taken earlier that day. Padmapriya began to question him on the basis that she should have been informed at that juncture if it were bad and it was not professional of him to comment at the end of the day just to prolong the shoot, by then Sami lost his cool and vented his ire on her by slapping her on the sets. She left the sets immediately and had asked her Manger Manoj to launch a complaint against Sami at the Actors Association. We hear that the complaint was filed this evening. Sami is known for getting himself into controversies but this one is of a different sort. His earlier film Uyir got him into enough controversies as the premise of the film was too hot for the audience to handle ,at least that was how the media projected it, that it did well financially for the producers was another story.
