The movie is based on father-daughter relationship with Prakash Raj and Trisha donning these roles. The film has cinematography by Preetha and music is scored by Mohan’s lucky mascot Vidyasagar.

Kushboo was initially discussed to play the role of Trisha’s mother, however, she couldn’t commit to the movie owing to her earlier agreed projects. Considering that Radha Mohan’s characters are well etched out, it is sad that the audience will miss out on a chance of watching Kushboo donning a role of substance.

With that, danseuse Lakshmi Gopalswami of sitcom Lakshmi fame will replace Kushboo to play Trisha’s mother.
