“After Madrasi I am seriously involved in discussions for my next project which I intend to direct and produce,” declares a confident Arjun. “The success of Thavam has come as a shot in the arm and I am seriously considering producing more films,” he further adds.

Arjun states that he is eagerly anticipating the release of Bharathiraja’s Bommalattam, which will simultaneously be released in Tamil and Hindi. Besides, his impending releases also include Vande Mataram with Mammootty in Malayalam and an unnamed project in Tamil directed by A.Venkatesh. In an attempt to break free from his action hero tag, Arjun mentions, “that is a charge that I would refute and films like Rhythm have been testimony to that. Of course I wouldn’t deny that patriotism somehow finds its way into my films, guess it runs in my blood,” he adds before signing off.
