Remember
that bubbly, plump girl with the smile
of a Diwali firecracker? She was invented
by T Rajendar to be cast opposite his
son Simbu when they were in good terms
(!!). In case you have not figured out
yet, we are talking about Charmie –
the Punjabi beauty. Her looks did not
help her much to sustain a position in
the Tamil industry.
She
shifted her focus and after a couple
of Malayalam movies she landed with
her bags in Tollywood. The result,
she is a budding talent in Telugu
and is a promising star who can very
soon shake the rank of Trishas, Nayantaras,
and Snehas.
Recently, news was aloft that Charmie
would be cast opposite Ajith in his
next venture Kireedom after Alwar.
However, Charmie denied the news in
the name of rumors and stated that
she is busy shooting for a couple
of her projects in Telugu. She added
that the Kireedom team had never contacted
her with an offer opposite Ajith.
She
further rubbished rumors about turning
down offers from Tamil movies. Though
Telugu movies pay a great deal, I am open
for Tamil as well, reassured Charmie.
Her ‘Style’ in Telugu is a
declared hit and has provided her ample
attention in the industry.
