This
Diwali, like any other festival season
is going to witness a plethora of
films from different actors and banners.
But for Sarathkumar, the occasion
is going to sport a different colour
as his hundredth film Thalaimagan
is ready for release for Diwali. It
is indeed a giant feat to complete
one hundred films. It requires a lot
of hard work and grit to make it to
this elite list. Sarath would be joining
the likes of Sivaji, M.G.R, Rajni,
Kamal, Prabhu and Karthik. He also
has one more additional reason to
feel excited. For the first time,
this handsome former Mr. Madras is
also involved in action behind the
camera. Yes, he has joined the luminous
list of actors who have proven themselves
wielding the megaphone.
“Would
this film click at the box office?”
is the question that lingers on everybody’s
lips. In an industry, which is ridden
by superstitions, there is a general belief
that 100th film of any star will not be
successful at the box office. But Sarath
being a staunch rationalist is the last
person to be bogged down by such myths.
According to him, hard work and the faith
in one self-alone would matter where it
is necessary. Anyway, wish you all the
best Sarath.
