Actresses
seem to be at the receiving end these
days. Katrina Kaif, the girl friend of
lover boy Salman Khan has found herself
in trouble. She along with yester year’s
star Rishi Kapoor were at Ajmer Durgah
shooting for a film called ‘Namaste
London’ directed by Vipul Shah.
This
time the problem was not about religion
but about the length of a frock of
Katrina. People who were offering
prayers at the Durgah found the attire
of Katrina to be an item of objectionable
nature. It is mandatory for women
worshippers to cover their head, hands
and legs while performing prayers
at the Durgah. She was wearing a short
cream coloured frock and was flaunting
her bare legs, which caught the attention
of the devotees. Perhaps the costume
designer of a film should be more
cautious and consider these issues
while designing a dress for such sequences.
It
was also alleged that the crew had not
obtained prior permission to shoot in
this religious spot from the concerned
authority. This has also irked the durgah
officials and the shooting was stopped
without any notice. According to a worshipper,
the film crew behaved very badly with
the people who are offering prayers. They
also felt that shooting should never be
allowed when Namaz is in progress.
