The Singapore Airlines have procured exclusive rights from Ayngaran International, who hold the overseas distribution rights for the film, by paying thrice the normal rate.

Bharath Mahadevan, Airlines Manager, Southern India, told the presspersons in Chennai on November 28, 2007 that this move would give a taste of Indian flavor to their international passengers. They will start screening Sivaji on their flights starting from December 1, 2007. After three months, other airlines can opt for screening this movie, when the exclusive rights held by Singapore Airlines comes to an end. Singapore Airlines, being the official airline for Madhavan’s Evano Oruvan, also extended their association with Tamil films by sponsoring some of their international previews.
