When contacted, she claimed that she had no issues in acting in movies that had controversial storylines but the whole idea of a Chief Minister falling in love with an actress didn’t seem to impress her. When questioned on her moving away from Kannada films, she said that right now she was busy with Gautham Menon’s Vaaranam Aayiram and there was no truth to these rumors. She added that she gave equal importance to both the languages and doesn’t believe in outweighing one over the other. Smart move!
