Kaadhala Kaadhala, Pancha Thanthiram, Diwan, Pammal.K. Sambandam and Kanaa Kandein to name a few. In this film, Arjun has Padmapriya playing his on-screen pair and he has penned the story himself. A. Venkatesh, who had worked with Arjun earlier in Vaathiyar, is handling the screenplay, dialogs and direction.

Music is by D. Imman. Keeping with the present trend of remixing famous oldies, the music director has chosen Rajaa Rajaathe Rajan Intha… from Mani Ratnam’s 1980s hit Agni Natchathiram.

The film hits the floors today with the shooting of this song for which over 500 junior artistes from across Kerala, Madurai, Dindugal and Chennai have gathered. A grand set has been erected to film this song, which is being choreographed by Dinesh. Anal Arasu is choreographing all the stunts except one important stunt scene, which will be masterminded by Alan Amin, Bollywood’s hottest stunt choreographer.

Speaking about the film, its co-producer Venkat says that the storyline revolves around the events unfolding in Chennai that change the course of life of Arjun who plays an unassuming villager. They intend shooting in various locations in Pollachi, Udumalpet and parts of Chennai. The movie is slated for a Tamil New Year release.
