This film is now being remade in Telugu as Nagaram
and yesteryear heroine Sivaranjini’s husband
Srikanth plays the role essayed by Sundar. C and
the film is being directed by C.C.Sreenivas.
On the other hand, the Telugu film Operation Duryodhana
based on the story of a police officer unable
to tolerate the excesses of politicians decides
to enter politics and takes on these very politicians
who were his bosses and even wins the elections.
He turns politician of exemplary caliber and cleanses
the system. This is the story that is being remade
in Tamil under the name Thee with Sundar.C playing
the lead and newcomer Ragini playing the heroine.
Kicha will be the director for this film. Seems
like the age old barter system is back, let’s
hope this is only a phase.
