Set in a historical backdrop, the main character is that of an Emperor who is animated to look like Rajinikanth and the super star himself has dubbed for this character. As the film is a historical one, there are many battle sequences which are first shot in normal manner and then converted into animation mode. The current schedule will consist of Rajini’s involvement for twenty days. A R Rahman is scoring music for Sultan and there are six songs out of which two are already recorded. Sultan will be ready to make his entry by next year.
