In Selva’s Aayirathil Oruvan, he has bagged
a role which was initially written for Dhanush.
He also directs and plays the hero in Vithagan,
a title which was much vied for by Vijayakanth.
Meanwhile Madhumitha, Gautham Menon’s assistant
was to direct Vallamai Thaaraayo, a film with
Prithviraj in the lead role. But according to
industry grapevine, Prithvi has been replaced
by Parthiban even before the commencement of the
shoot. There is also a dearth of heroine in Vallamai
Thaaraayo and Vithagan and the units are frantically
searching for the right lady lead to support Parthiban.
