In fact, her first Sri Lankan film, Anjalika,
was a runaway hit setting new records at the box
office followed by her recent release Aasai Mang
Piambanna. Talking about one of her recent trips
to the island nation, Pooja said that she was
surprised to see houseful boards outside movie
halls screening her movie, something she has never
witnessed during her earlier trips.
She was all gung ho about her Oram Po, which
will finally see the light of the day by this
month end, and her current project Naan Kadavul
for which she was roped in at the last minute.
Naan Kadavul had taken a break for Deepavali
and will resume its shooting soon. When our correspondent
enquired about her getting offers from other regional
languages, Pooja said that she had received offers
from Tollywood but intends concentrating only
in Kollywood. Good news for Pooja fans!
