Billa, originally a remake of the then Hindi blockbuster Don, was a super hit. This was the movie that catapulted Rajinikanth, who played the protagonist in the original, to the super star status.

Talking about the film, Vishnu said that he strongly believes that his Billa would do to Ajith what the earlier version had done to Rajini. Awed by Ajith’s performance in the film and the dedication he had shown, Vishnu disclosed that Ajith jumped off a 60 feet platform for the film without opting for a dupe. In fact, the crew had arranged for a Chinese stunt double to shoot that scene but Ajith was so adamant and oh boy! He did it with such ease that the whole team was left awestruck. Reason enough to believe why Vishnu is betting on Billa.
