Oops! Did we make it sound like some clandestine project, no which was not our intention. we are talking about their new commercial that premiered yesterday on Deepavali on all major TV channels.

It seems to have been inspired by the Toyota commercial featuring Aamir Khan that was based on a similar concept the only difference being that it was restricted to 3 avatars for Aamir. In the Aircel commercial, Surya plays different avatars; nine to be precise, of people one would encounter in his daily life. He plays a gardener, security guard, traffic constable, cool dude, set assistants, director and himself. It was pretty cool to see Surya after a long time on the small screen; it is for Aircel’s new ring tone downloads, colorfully shot by Manikandan, the cinematographer for ‘Om Shanti Om’.
