The Bachchans were the cynosure of all eyes at the show, as the big B, junior B and their new bahu were there. The performers included Diya Mirza shaking a leg to Kehna hi Kya from Mani Ratnam’s Bombay and Kavita Subramaniam crooning the yesteryear hit Hawaa Hawaai from Mr.India. The event was in full flow and the Big B’s family seemed to enjoy every bit of it, well, almost. The highlight was the performance of the King Khan for his number from Om Shanti Om much to the surprise of the spectators. However when the announcement regarding the dance of King Khan came in, the Bachchans decided to leave the place in a hurry.

Though much couldn’t be made out of their exit, it was enough to add fuel to the already brewing rumor that they are in a cold war of sorts. What really was their hurry especially at that juncture, is something they alone can answer.
