Both Vijay and Surya have major fan following
in US and with Rahman pitching in for ATM, the
hype and hoopla surrounding it is all but natural.
Vijay's last release Pokkiri was a major hit,
breaking all prior records for a Vijay movie and
Surya's Sillunu Oru Kaadhal was also a hit. The
coming together of the Gajini pair of Surya and
Asin in Vel and the Vijay and Shriya in Rahman’s
music in ATM is reason enough for fans to throng
the theaters.
Narmadha Travels is distributing both the movies
in America. ATM and VEL will be released in places
like Bay Area, Chicago, New Jersey, Virginia,
Minneapolis, St Louis, Seattle, Atlanta, Boston,
Columbus, Dallas, Houston and Detroit.
Surya is in US for the shooting of Vaaranam Aayiram
and he seems visibly pleased about the hype and
release of VEL. Both ATM and VEL have secured
a ‘U’ certification and overseas prints
will be shipped on Monday.
