The munnabhai of bollywood, Sanjay
Dutt has been found guilty by the
special TADA court in Mumbai. He was
found guilty under the arms act for
possessing illegal AK-56 rifle and
9mm pistol but the court cleared Sanjay
Dutt of any criminal conspiracy in
the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts. The judge
also proclaimed that Sanjay was not
a terrorist.
The sentence is not yet made known. Sanjay
will now be in jail until the sentence is
pronounced.
Sources
reveal that the 18 months Sanjay spent in jail (during
1993 and 1994) will be deducted from the sentence
he is likely to be given. Sanjay pleaded to the judge
asking for some more time to complete his ongoing
movies and also to settle his daughter who is studying
in New York. The minimum sentence to be given for
