The most popular game show Kaun Banega
Crorepathi (KBC) is making its way
back and this time with a bang. Bollywood’s
king, Sharukh Khan is to host the
KBC – 3 which will go on air
from January 2007. Earlier it was
Amitab Bachchan who played the host
for the first two editions of KBC.
It is well known that KBC was one
of the turning points in the financially
troubled stages of the big B. The
second edition had to be stopped owing
to the illness of Amitab.
The
question now is can Sharukh carry on the
charm and interest that Amitab had created.
Many believe that Sharukh will go one step
ahead and recreate the KBC magic in his
own style. Siddharth Basu, the producer
of KBC was very happy to cache in on Sharukh
Khan as a replacement to Amitab Bachchan.
