The tax waiver for a Tamil film with
a Tamil title from Tamil Nadu government
has resulted in movies with chaste
Tamil titles. Films with non-Tamil
titles are quick to be altered to
an authentic Tamil one. There was
a talk about Ajith’s film Kreedam
to be changed to Magudam as the word
Kreedam has its origin in Sanskrit
and Malayalam. But the committee who
is responsible to confirm if a title
is Tamil or not has informed the producer
Suresh Balaji that he can go ahead
with Kreedam.
Pleased
with this news, the film had its first song
recorded on Friday with playback singer
Jayachandran rendering the number. The shooting
for Kreedam begins at Rajamundry on December
6th. For director Vijay this will be his
maiden directorial venture.
