In
Kollywood Kamal is known as a stickler for
discipline especially in the sets. Whenever
there is a film involving him goes on the
floor, everybody maintains the same sense
of decorum that Kamal follows. In fact director
K S Ravikumar would not even smoke when
Kamal is present in the sets. But a recent
incident at the sets of Dasavatharam sparked
off a series of unsavoury events.
At a shooting spot near Chengelpet
when a stunt sequence was being captured
by the camera, stunt master Kanal
Kannan was reported to have used unparliamentary
words at the workers and that too
over the public address system. Angered
and humiliated by such remarks, the
workers walked out of the sets refusing
to work any more. Repeated pleading
from Kamal and Ravikumar did not help
the situation any further. Finally
they all resumed duty only after the
elimination of Kanal Kannan. Now stunt
master Thyagarajan is taking care
of stunt scenes.
