Language
has always been a barrier for the south
Indian talents to have a say in the Bollywood
industry. Quite often good talents are turned
down or mocked at for lack of language skills.
Seems that the new victim in the row is
Murugadoss, the hit director of Ghajini
the movie, which is to be remade into Hindi
with Aamir Khan n the lead.
It
is reported that Murugadoss will not
be directing the Hindi Ghajini following
concerns over the communication barrier
posed due to his lack of knowledge
in Hindi. To his dismay, Asin who
would have rendered a helping hand
in this regard had not been approached
for the movie either. However, Murugadoss
proved his talent and made heads turn
in the Telugu industry with his latest
hit Stalin with Chiranjeevi in the
lead. This was possible since Chiranjeevi
is fluent in Tamil and had no qualms
in banking on Murugadoss’s talents
as a director.
Well,
that teaches a lesson or two on the language
front. We are sure Murugadoss would master
in Hindi when his Stalin is ready to be
remade in Hindi – hypothetically speaking.
