Actress
Gopika’s father was attacked
and injured in a cinema theatre in
Kerala. Gopika who is a frequent visitor
to the cinema theatres had a very
bad experience this time when she
along with her mother, father and
sister visited a theatre in Ollur
near Trichur. A war of words broke
out between Gopika’s father
Anto and a college student named Shabir
who was seated behind Gopika in the
theatre hall. After this incident
Shabir called up his friends who came
into the theatre and man handled Anto
and then left the place. Anto was
hurt very badly and was admitted to
the nearby hospital.
Though
his condition is very stable, he is under
observation and treatment. Theatre authorities
were not available for any comments. Police
have started their investigation registering
a case against Shabir and his friends.
